Quite a discussion going on about the dollar beer night. Many people complaining about people being drunk and stupid...

What do you think about an alcohol free section or 2? Many arenas I have visited have this for families. I think this might be a good idea. Just advertise it and make sure it's enforced.

Is Tuesday night attendance up enough that there aren't 8-10 everyone-free sections still?

Oh, the whole upper bowl is open. That was one of my points to the guys I was thinking to - move if you don't like your seats. I'm just wondering if there should be a designated section period. Some of the people complaining said it's going on for weekend games too.

Yeah I gotcha, I kind of feel like they would need to do that to keep people happy around here, but how does that work? Is the aisle enough buffer? Is it printed on your tickets if you buy single game? I'm just totally unfamiliar with this.

They would really have to advertise the hell out of it. Make sure all of the people who sold single game tickets knew it. The XCEL Energy Center in St. Paul does it for the Minnesota Wild. You know they like their booze up there...

I think it's more for families who want to bring their kids and stuff and don't want a drunk idiot cussing right behind them. The aisle can be a good barrier - but if the place is empty you can't really get around it.
