2010 NHL Draft Results

How did you favorite NHL team do in the 2010 draft?

I'm a little mixed about my Minnesota Wild. I think their first rounder should be decent but I don't see much in the later rounds. A little disappointing.

They did go all forwards with one goalie. They do need to score more goals this year.

I'm a little surprised that my Wings took mostly centers, but I have full faith in the front office.

The Stars drafted a future franchise goalie and a few defensemen which is what they needed. I just found out today that the Stars would NOT be resigning Mike Modano. I don't know what they are thinking. It's true he's almost 41, but you would think that with all he's done for the franchise and all he's done for hockey in the Texas area, they would allow him to retire on his own. He's the best American player in NHL history and he can still play better than most players half his age.

Wow, I didn't hear that about Madano. Being from Minnesota I am still a Madano fan from the North Stars.

I'm sure someone will scoop him up. Maybe Minnesota?? :)

I'm kind of hoping Modano and Turco end up in Phoenix with Tippet. I'll always be a die-hard Stars fan, but I am very disappointed in the Stars' management. He has played for two decades for the same franchise and should be allowed to retire as a Dallas Star.
