Played 42 games last year with Oilers with 3 goals and a -21 rating (ouch)
Also played 2 games in 2009
14 points (3 goals, 11 assists) in 39 games with Barons this year
Played 3 years with North Dakota in the WCHA

Chorney was pretty tough to watch last year. In fairness to him, he played with Jason Strudwick for most of the year, which, while he is a veteran, is a tough learning experience to say the least. LOL God love Strudwick, but he just isn't a strong enough defender to ease a new d-man into the league.

What did you guys think of Chorney while he was there. While up here, his offensive game seemed there.. but his defense was really lacking. I'm curious if he's improved.

He's been decent of late. Probably the most consistent defensemen in the past few weeks. Only knock on him is he tries to take it coast to coast too many times and loses the puck in the neutral zone. Then it's an instant 3 on 2 going the other way.
