Wow, what a game. I missed the end of it but saw the highlights.
Great job USA - great momentum into the medal round.

An awesome game, I just finished watching on the full game replay of the nbc olympics website. Even though Brodeur didn't have the best game, I love watching him play the puck. One of the best ever. Ryan Miller was phenomenal.

If Canada wins tonight do they play Russia tomorrow? Thought I heard that somewhere. That's going to be a good matchup if I heard it correct.

Yep, Canada gets Russia after beating Germany. Did you see Weber's shot go THROUGH the net in that Germany game? He brought the hammer all right.

The difference in style of the two goalies was very pronounced that game. Brodeur throwing 2-pad stacks and half-butterflies still plays with a more stand-up style. Miller, on the other hand, uses full butterflies and pushes off with his skate to slide and recover while in the butterfly. You can see how much better Miller's style is suited for scrambles in front of the net, and dealing with deflections close to the net... situations that resulted in goals against Brodeur and saves against Miller. Its really amazing how successful Brodeur still is considering his more "outdated" playing style.
