I was thinking about the game, and I must say because we were short handed everyone played very smart on both sides.
Here is what I saw:
-A lot of two-way hockey (until everyone was dead tired in the end).
-People were spread out WAY more than usual which opened up phenomenal passing lanes.
-Way more passing to conserve energy, this is what we should aim for all the time.
-Defense were pinching players to the outside better than usual and stepped up at perfect times.
-There were a few defensive zone minuses, but we will just ignore those. :D
Tons of opportunities, that game could have been very one sided either way at times.
All-in-all I would have to say that game rates as #1 so far for the season.
Also on a side note, I would have to say everyone's vision has improved two fold since I got here a couple months ago. You all are getting harder and harder to play against every single day.
