Audience
This 3 session adult instructional is targeted for beginner to novice hockey players. You don’t need any hockey experience but its best if you can at least skate. Full equipment will be required for all participants.
Itinerary will consist of 3 main sections; skating and stopping, shooting and passing, and positioning. The final week will be a full 3 period game.
Cost
Cost will be $75 per person. Prepayment is required.

Tuesday March 1st - Day 1 8:00 PM – 10 PM – Arctic Edge West Rink
8 PM – 8:45 PM – players get dressed and chalk talk - Introductions, team formation, basic hockey rules, strategy.
8:45 – 9:15 – skating drills – edgework, stride, turning, crossovers, stopping.
9:15 – 9:30 - shooting and passing drills -
9:30 - ?? – controlled scrimmage (half ice both sides)
Thursday March 3rd - Day 2 7:00 PM – 9 PM – Cox Convention Center Arena
***OKC Barons players will be joining us tonight***
7:00- 7:30 PM – players get dressed and chalk talk – Game strategy, positioning.
7:30 – 8:00 – offensive zone position
8:00 – 8:30 – defensive zone coverage
8:30 – 9:00 – controlled scrimmage
Wednesday March 9th - Day 3 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM – Cox Convention Center
7:00 – 7:30 – pregame strategy with coaches
7:30 – 9:00 – Full game. 20 minute running time periods
