We might be looking for a good forward or at least a F sub for the summer, starts March 20th or 27th, 2011. Must be solid D2 or D1B type player (most likely former Midget AA, AAA, Junior, or Collegiate Club or DIII). Not trying to be snooty, but D2 is fast. We ain't gettin any younger though. Our D's all over 40 but still solid!

I may be intersted - depends on my work schedule. Travel quite a bit in the summer. Sure wish they had a midweek league here, especially in the summer.

I'll send you a PM if I can do it. Is it really $450 for 15 games?

I played D1 WCHA college hockey.

Hey UMD if I remember correctly it is 4500 per team or 375 per player if players pay individually. Dont quote me but I think I am pretty close.

UMD - It's pricey but it's all we have here. We're going $400/player for the first 10 then $25/gm for the subs, and are reimbursing the core guys when they have to be out of town. I have miss 3-4 games too. I played D3 in Upstate NY. You might want to be in D1 unless you're very rusty. D2 is typically more like college club players and Junior B/C. The Moose, OSU, Griz and Bills Vending are D2/D1 and Junior A/B type guys mostly but we still give them a hell of a game when we play them. Moose is often short handed. Call Larry Donovan (League Manager at Blazers Ice Center in Moore) and tell him you want to get on a D1 team, he'll let you know who's looking for players and you can see what they'll work out with you.

Thanks, I'll check into it. I'm definitely rusty lol. I'm trying to rearrange my work schedule so I can get on a team full time this fall.

It looks like the upper divisions here are less BS and more hockey. After watching some lower division games it seems like half of the guys are on CHL tryouts.

They told me that all i had to do was become a better skater, get a harder shot, and learn to pass and I would have a contract in the CHL in no time! ;):p
