Either that cut in the ice redirected the puck or he truly does have supernatural powers :p

I wonder if the puck wasn't rotating in such a way that when it hit the ice it spun back towards its previous direction. Somewhat like if you take a basketball and bounce it away from you while spinning it towards you, it bounces back toward instead of away from you.
Could have hit the top of the puck with the bottom of his leg, forcing the top back and the bottom forward, initiating the spin.
Regardless though, looks interesting. He definitely got lucky on that one.

OK I watched this about 10 more times. It's an optical illusion I think. Watch the goalie stick - I think it deflects of that...

It looks like it hit under his arm/by his blocker, as you can see the puck deflecting downward off his arm/blocker. AvsOkie, I think you may be right about the puck rotating in a weird way and then bouncing the other direction. Take a look at about :15 into the video, a nice close up shot that allows you to see how the puck bounced.
