new to okc and the site

I just moved to okc from pittsburgh and a friend sent me the link for this site. i love hockey and am interested in the beer leagues and wanted to know more about them, ie cost, skill level, equipment required/provided etc. i saw that the league has just started a new season and i would love to get involved in the next one if able. i definately need a break from this horrible heat, i am really missing the northeast at the moment.

Hey welcome. I'm actually in the process of moving back home to Minnesota - but I'll forward your info to our league manager.

Cost is $250 for 12 weeks ($275 first sign up which covers 2 jerseys).

No real equipment provided but most guys wear full cages or half shields. Some guys wear shoulder pads but its no check so they really aren't required.

Skill level is pretty intermediate. Some newer guys play and also a few higher division players as well. We try to keep the teams even plus they rotate so no one teams dominates

Moving down your way at the end of the month, Looking for a league to play in. Ages, I play in a over 40 league in Wi. , I'm 57 but in good shape playing now in a not hit or slap shot type , Please fill me in.
