Edmonton Oilers goalie Nikolai Khabibulin was found guilty on three counts involved an alcohol-related traffic incident Friday in an Arizona court, according to published reports. Khabibulin, a goalie for the Edmonton Oilers, could face at least 30 days in jail on the conviction. Charges related to a February incident near Phoenix, where Khabibulin was residing after back surgery that ended his season. Sentencing will take place at a later date. A plea deal remains possible, and Khabibulin and his lawyer were reportedly conferring after the ruling.
