All I noticed when we picked out our season tickets was the old Ford Center scoreboard. Anyone know what the other improvements are supposed to be??
Heard something like a VIP/Season ticket lounge.

I have read they were also refurbishing the locker rooms, replacing the ice plant and the dasher boards as well. I am sure the Cox Center's $4.5 million refurbishment will look great!

Sweet. I could have sworn I heard something about a new bar or club in there. Or is that wishful thinking?

I believe a new club is being built along with some loge seats as well. A loge is sort of a mini-suite. I am sure the club will do their best to max out the revenues with higher category seats. I expect a team's shop as well selling jerseys and other souvenirs... Cox Center in my opinion has better hockey seat viewing lines. It should make a wonderful hockey home...

Awesome. Gotta make sure I can get a few beers. I've actually seen only one game in the Cox Center. I moved here in 2005 and I am not sure if they already moved to the Ford Center or what. I do know the game I saw there was when the Hornets were at the Ford Center. Agree, much better site lines.

I used to love watching hockey at the Myriad back in the day, but I also like the Ford Center. And I have a BIG problem with the fact that my tax dollars are paying for the Ford Center and I can't experience what I am paying for unless I want to watch basketball or see a concert.

Yeah that is kind of stupid Duane. I guess how it works in almost all cities with pro teams though. The taxpayers get the subsidize the billionaire owners...
