Well, we picked up 3 season tickets. Here's the price breakdown for anyone who's interested.

$920 - on the glass all the way around
$760 - most of the lower level and center ice of top level
$620 - lower level corners
~$500 - Upper level corners and ends. Can't remember this price off the top of my head.

Is that per ticket?

Yes per ticket. Came out to about $19 per game for the $760 price. I think those prices might be expired now though, trying to find out.

With a 80 game schedule, 40 at home, the longer season will imply a higher season ticket price overall even if the per seat price stays the same for each game.

While I am not certain about the OKC franchise, the Texas teams bus around Texas and most probably up to OKC. However when they travel to the teams around Chicago, they fly and then bus around on those road trips. Its the same when they play teams further east on a road trip. The AHL schedule is also lopsided to play teams closer more often as well. One hardly plays many of the teams in the East unless its the final Calder Cup series.

Toby - agreed. I can't remember how many games the Blazers had per season but I know it wasn't 40.

I'll have to throw on my Wild jersey when the Houston Aeros come to town though - :)

The Blazers played a 64 game season.
Agree with Brett - I'll have to wear my Stars jersey when the Texas Stars visit.

I think that will be a good rivalry - OKC and Texas Stars.

The went up a bit in price...

$1040 - Glass
$825 - Lower

They have a bunch of good spots left but I'm guessing they will go fast after Wednesday.

Wow, thanks. I tried calling last week just to get info but I was on hold forever and gave up.

Really, those prices aren't that bad still.

Yup.
The guy I talked to was Cole Butcher. (405) 232-4625

BTW,
He said that anyone can come to the press conference Wednesday.

I'd love to buy a set of season tickets but living over hour and half away (Ada) makes them less attractive.
I just don't think I will get to Okc enough to justify buying them.
If i knew I could sell my tickets if I was not going to be in Okc, I'd probably buy 2 of the $825 tickets in section 210 or 211.

I would love season tickets but with my job I can't guarantee getting to every game. I've already let them know when the season starts I may get, -ahem- "sick" a few times a month.
