Who's your NHL team?

I hope it's OK that I'm posting this, it seems like a relatively new forum and didn't see this anywhere.

That and I'm always curious who roots for who. I realize that a lot of people here may change their allegiances to the Oilers due to the new AHL team, but I wonder if you had (or still have) a favorite team before this.

I am a Red Wings fan myself.

Wild fan here. Grew up in Minnesota and moved to OKC in 2005. I'll have my Wild jersey on when the Houston Aeros are in town. Otherwise I'll be rooting for the [Insert Team Name Here] :)

Oh yes. I still can't look at the Dallas Stars the same way. Bitter much? Yes I am. Norm Green still has a target on his back in Minnesota for moving the team. I usually make the trek down to Dallas to watch the Wild/Stars every year.

I think I am bad luck though - the Wild haven't won in Dallas since 2006 I believe.

Growing up I was a New York Rangers fan. When the North Stars moved to Dallas, I checked them out and noticed a young player named Mike Modano. I've been a die-hard Stars fan ever since then. I'm hoping Modano goes one more year, but it looks like he is going to retire, which is a shame because with the goaltending in question this season, we need all the offense we can get.
