I am going for a tour of the Cox Center to get a firsthand look at the ongoing renovations and some inside info. I am hoping to take a bunch of pictures - if they let me - and post them on here.
I'll be going next Tuesday. Post your questions here now and I'll ask the management!

Oh hell yeah! You got connections there or what??
I'll think of some questions over the weekend. I guess my first one would be... any new bars or clubs? The Cox really doesn't have anything over there does it?

I agree with UMD's question. Are there going to be better concessions? Also, is there going to be a pro shop of some sort for jerseys and such.

Well, just got back.
I got a good idea on what we'll be seeing this fall.
I saw the locker room under construction. Very large area separated into managers offices, training rooms, etc. Not much to see here - just studs showing the outline but a long way to go here.
Saw where the VIP bar/restaurant is. It's basically on the SE corner of the lower level next to the escalators. I did seem a little small (maybe 100 tops). Again, a long ways to go on this also. Walls aren't even up yet.
Season ticket lounge/bar will be directly behind my season tickets! Score! will be in the concourse right behind sections /211/212/213. Couldn't get in there to take a look but I believe it's just some meeting room space that is being converted.
Saw where the pro shop is going to be. It's going to be HUGE. A weird thing is that I don't think you can get to it without having a ticket. It's upstairs, not on the ground level. Maybe they'll have something else down there - not sure.
I didn't really take many pictures because really there isn't much done yet. I'll be going back in a few months once we can see some progress and get some pics.

I hope they have more concessions. The last time the Blazers played there, I missed half of the second period waiting in line for nachos. The problem is the Ford Center has three different concourses while the Cox has one concourse for both the upper and lower bowls, so I don't know how they would solve that unless the just put more concession booths on the concourse.

They are building some sort of big food court area. Really didn't find out the specifics on that. Also, they are supposed to have season ticket only lines (woohoo for me)

Went and saw the Cox again last night. Didn't have a camera with me but they've made a lot of progress. Locker room, training rooms, coaches offices are all walled in now and looking great. Also, a lot of progress on the VIP club. I'll probably check it out again in a few weeks
