iPad? Worth the cash?

So I have been debating on getting an iPad. I am usually all things PC but man they look cool.

Any recommendations? wifi vs 3G?

I've never even played with one yet which is said because I am a tech guy AND I work for AT&T...

I say yes. They are fantastic. I don't own one yet, but it is on my list of big purchases for next year. And you can trust my judgement, for I too am a tech guy AND work for AT&T.
