Youth Hockey and the Barons

Does anyone know what involvement the Barons will have with OKC Youth Hockey??

I have a son who is turning 5 this summer and I know the Blazers had the kids first deal. Do you know if that is still going on?

Also - now the the Blazers are gone... what will the team name of the youth teams be??

UMD fan - I have a few parents who are in the youth hockey program. I'll forward to them and have them add anything they have heard.

I'm really not involved at all with the kids.

I am pretty sure they are still doing the kids first program.. I remember them having all the equipment set out earlier this year for it at Blazers Ice Centre

UMD Fan...Mike McEwen runs the kids first program. There should be flyers at the rinks. The OKCYHA has its own identity now as recommended by the Barons and Oilers. The youth teams are now the OKC Oil Kings. They wear the same colors as the Barons, just with an Oil Kings logo. They look sharp.
