I enjoy getting to the games early to watch warm ups. Duke is going to cure me of that.

Wow, no wonder attendance is low. They should have got Muse Watson (Mike Franks from "NCIS") to play Duke

I thought at first they were just corny, but as I watched them again I think that they were just bad. I feel insulted as a hockey fan to have watched them.
I understand what they were going for, because apparently they still think OKC still lives in the 1910's not the 2010's

Anyone arrive early enough to see if they still play these videos?

I usually get to games a few minutes before practice, haven't seen them in a long time.

I like the idea of the character, a tough western style Oil Baron ties in nicely to the historic culture we have. But the execution is just plain off. Possibly even insulting. Definitely a missed chance. (and hey, Chuck Norris is a native Okie - maybe shell out some extra dough next time and get him to do some promos?
I haven't seen these in a long long time, even during warmups. I think they have shelved them in favor of the promos starring the players. Which are also a good idea with lacking execution. They need to get some of the high energy, more personable players to do them. (Thinking along the lines of Lord or Storts...)
