Barons TV and Radio Broadcast

Anyone heard on who will be doing the play by play for radio and TV? I'd assume Fox Sports would pick up the games on TV...

Any rumors out there?

I'd imagine that 1340 AM might do the radio broadcast. I hope that some of the games get picked up on the TV side.

I think most AHL teams have some sort of TV deals. I know Houston has the Aeros on Fox Sports SW quite a bit.

1340 is where the Blazers were wasn't it?

As for play by play... no idea.

Any more info? I sure hope they televise a lot of these games. I won't be able to attend many games live.

Just looked up some other AHL teams... looks like they broadcast much fewer games than I thought. The Houston Aeros only had 6 games on TV last year. Who knows though - maybe some good attendance at the Cox will create some demand for TV??

The Barons will be on 96.1 KXY, and there is no TV deal.

the AHL itself broadcasts games for a sign up fee online,at least they did last year. I would assume it would happen this season as well.

There are ways around the fee, you just have to find them out!.

No TV deal yet, or no TV deal period? I know the Chicago Wolves have a full 80 game TV deal. I believe they are the only ones.

I agree tho - probably wishful thinking. Lets concentrate on filling the stands first!

yeah HF I know "some" tricks. and NHL network sometimes airs some games as well.

The Barons already have improved over the blazers by getting on a FM station to broadcast the games.
