Boy the Barons will have a great goaltending tandem now that JD is heading to town.

I think they may have the best 1-2 combo in the AHL now.

Expect Pitton to be sent down to ECHL Stockton Thunder.

Im assuming even if he gets in town soon Gerber will still be in net on Friday?

Tough to say. Just saw he cleared waivers. I wouldn't be surprised to see him play one or 2 games this weekend.

The other question is:

Who are the Oilers sending up now that they have an open roster spot??

Some talk in the papers this morning that they wanted to free up the spot for Jacques. But it seems he might be while before he is back. So maybe they call up someone in the meantime. Belle might be a nice temporary callup though given the flak some of our D have been taking.
